I know this is multiple objects, but the answer would have to be my small, albeit precious, collection of novels. They are part of who I am.
This thing called LOVE
Today, for the first time, I have come to understand the true meaning of unconditional, and sometimes unrequited love. It is the ability to love another human being so completely and fully without expecting anything in return. It’s not that returned affection is not wanted or desired… it’s just that it’s not measured based on reciprocated feelings. To recognize a person who expresses this utmost primal instinct is a revelation in itself. To truly know in your heart that a person loves you for who you are, no matter what your flaws are or how many times you have wronged them, is incredible. It magnifies the bond between two people. It is life-changing in the sense that you become more aware of this type of love and, like a disease, you find yourself feeling more open to loving others. In my experience, select few are born with the ability to love in this way, while others must come into it in their own time. My eyes are open now; I hope, in time, that I may come to change the lives of others as well.
